Why Latinos will reject “Build Back Better” November 8: Build Back Better Is Really Build Back Broke
On November 8th, Latinos will head to the polls to vote against “Build Back Better”. Why?..Because “Build Back Better” has not been better – especially for Latinos.
Biden’s Build Back Better is a colossal failure causing inflation to spin out of control virtually destroying the middle class – and it does not reflect the values of the Latino community.
Latinos want jobs, freedom and the opportunity to have a better life, which comes as the result of hard work and a prospering economy. Joe Biden and “Build Back Better” have destroyed our economy and even now they are raising interest rates in an attempt to purposely curb inflation and throw us into a government created recession.
Joe Biden killed the Keystone Pipeline that unemployed many Hispanic Tejanos which ended up driving up gas prices. According to my dear friend Matt Coday, President and Founder of Oil & Gas Workers Association, when Biden killed the Keystone Pipeline permit he crushed every American with the most Anti-Worker action and inaction that disproportionately crushed Hispanic Tejano jobs in Texas and beyond.
Inflation has hurt my family personally. I have two sons, one in college we have had to cut back on our spending to make sure our sons still have basic needs of food and clothing, roof over their head, lights on at home, and can put gas in the car to get them to school. Food prices are higher at the grocery store, so high that we must make tough decisions on what we can and cannot buy to make sure there is food on the table for our family.
The crime rate is up. In Houston TX, FBI reported the crime rate was 131.8% higher than the national rate. In some places we know that the average crime rate is up 22%. We have open borders that are destroying our communities with homelessness, higher crime rates, bailouts, higher fentanyl deaths, overwhelmed hospitals and schools with illegals. We have higher energy prices, our low-and middle-class households can’t pay their electric bills finding themselves with no electricity. We are about to run out of diesel and that will put many minorities out of work with no food on the table.
The policies of “Build Back Better” have directly hurt the Latino community creating an environment where we are struggling to survive and the only way, we can change this is to vote accordingly. We have felt devastation in our pocketbooks, our bank accounts, and our 401k’s.
Latinos finally recognize that Build Back Better is really “Build Back Broke”.
